This policy explains how Proofworks Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit proof-works.co.uk, contact us, or book a call with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are

We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16940700), with our registered office at 63 Archer Drive, Mickleover, Derby, DE3 0AG. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC167703. The person responsible for data protection is Terrie Bryan. The data we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email address, company, phone number and any details you share when you book a call or send us an enquiry.
- Booking data — when you schedule a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) processes the details you submit to arrange the meeting.
- Technical data — limited technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and working.
How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange and conduct discovery or audit calls.
- To provide and administer services you ask us to deliver.
- To maintain the security and performance of our website.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running our business), to take steps to enter into or perform a contract with you, and where required, with your consent.
Sharing & third parties
We use trusted providers to operate this website and our scheduling, including:
- Calendly — call scheduling (see Calendly's privacy notice).
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Our email provider, for correspondence.
Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU approved transfer mechanisms) are in place. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies needed for it to function and for security. When you interact with the embedded Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set its own cookies. We do not currently use third-party advertising or marketing-analytics cookies; if that changes, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking data only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping purposes, then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email admin@proof-works.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
